Germany 1-0 Nigeria ( FIFA U-20 )
The Flying Eagles of Nigeria were this morning eliminated from the FIFA U-20 World Cup by the Germans at Christchurch in New Zealand. The U-20 German player Levin Oeztunali scored in the 19th minute of the first half. The goal was enough to sent the Nigeria side packing. The German players played good football compared to the Flying Eagles. The Germans will now meet Mali in the quarter-final.

Champions League final
This season's Champions League final come up this today at 7.45pm. The glamorous final is taking place at Berlin, Germany. At the final, Barcelona will have to tackle Juventus. The old ladies have Messi, Suarez and Neymar to handle. The reigning champions of the La Liga has won four Champions League in 1992, 2006, 2009 and 2011. While Juventus has won it in 1985 and 1996.
Serena Williams emerges victorious
The world number one in female tennis, Serena Williams has won the French open. She defeated Czech 13th seed Lucie Safarova 6-3 6-7 (2-7) 6-2. This victory means she has won 20 grand slam title. Congrats to her.

Andy Murray
At the ongoing French open tournament, Andy Murray defeated Span's David Ferrer on clay. David was beaten 7-6 (7-4) 6-2 5-7 6-1. Andy Murray will now meet
Djokovic at semis.
Benitez succeeds Ancelotti
The former Napoli coach Raphael Benitez has been appointed as the new coach of Real Madrid for three years. He replaces Ancelotti who was sacked by the club for not winning a trophy this season. Benitez started his coaching career in Real Madrid as a junior coach. He coached Valencia where he won two league titles and went ahead to win champions league at his first season at Liverpool. He has returned to Santiago Bernabeu after 11 years.
